There is no single best venue, because the three routes to Anthropic exposure are not the same product. One sells you a synthetic price feed, one sells you a regulated derivative, and one sells you an interest in actual shares. They differ by a factor of several hundred on cost and by everything on what you end up holding.
This page lists every venue we can confirm has an Anthropic market, with the fee it publishes and the date we checked.

Start here: the guides currently ranking are wrong
The top-ranking answer for "how to buy Anthropic stock pre IPO" still recommends Ventuals markets.
Ventuals wound down. All fifteen of its markets return isDelisted: true on-chain, its last non-zero fee day was 2026-06-18, and its own site title reads "Ventuals is sunsetting". The settled marks are preserved on-chain: vntl:ANTHROPIC at 1619.3, vntl:OPENAI at 1336.2, vntl:SPACEX at 2109.5. It processed more than $650 million of cumulative volume and never issued a token, which makes every Ventuals airdrop farming guide still live on the internet a description of something that does not exist.
If you followed a guide here and it told you to trade vntl:ANTHROPIC, that market settled in June 2026. Our Ventuals alternative page covers where that liquidity went.
The three routes, and what each one actually gives you
| On-chain perp | CEX pre-IPO perp | TradFi secondary | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you hold | Cash-settled contract | Cash-settled contract | Interest in shares or a fund |
| Ownership rights | None | None | Depends on structure |
| Typical cost | Thousandths of a percent | Hundredths of a percent | About 2% to 5.75% per side |
| Minimum | Tens of dollars | Tens of dollars | Roughly $10,000 to $100,000 |
| Accreditation | Not requested | Varies by venue | Generally required |
| Exit speed | Seconds | Seconds | Weeks to never |
| Leverage | Yes | Yes | No |
| Counterparty | Venue and clearinghouse | Exchange | Marketplace, SPV, seller |
Read that table before comparing fees, because comparing a 0.009% taker fee against a 2.5% marketplace commission only makes sense once you accept that the two are buying different things.
Route 1: on-chain perpetuals

The only on-chain venue we can confirm runs a live Anthropic market today is Entropy, through io:ANTH, a HIP-3 market it deploys on Hyperliquid.
| Item | io:ANTH |
|---|---|
| Deployer | Entropy (io), operated by Bursa Global Inc. |
| Denomination | Market cap. $1 of price = $1 billion of implied valuation |
| Maker / taker, effective | 0.0030% / 0.0090% with Growth Mode enabled |
| Maker / taker, headline HIP-3 | 0.030% / 0.090% |
| Max leverage | 3x |
| Margin mode | strictIsolated |
| Open interest cap | $5,000,000, about 66.6% used on 2026-08-26 |
| Collateral | USDC bridged from Arbitrum One |
| KYC | None. Wallet screening and a geographic IP check instead |
| Restricted | US, Canada, UK, Panama per the terms of service |

The 0.0090% figure is not published by Entropy. We derived it from the documented 2x HIP-3 multiplier and the documented Growth Mode 0.1 scaling, then checked it against the tape: $66,194,725 of 24-hour io dex notional at 0.009% is $5,958, and DefiLlama reported $5,982 of fees for the same window. That is a ratio of 1.00. Full working in our fees guide, and the mechanics of the contract itself in anthropic pre-IPO perp.
Other perp DEXs, and why they do not solve this query
Several general perpetual DEXs are cheaper than Entropy on headline fees. Lighter advertises 0% maker and 0% taker for standard accounts, and Paradex advertises 0% maker and taker, but that rate is retail-interface only. API and RPI traders pay 0.02% taker there, and as of 2026-08-26 Paradex had no Anthropic market listed at all, so it belongs in the "check before funding" column rather than the fee-comparison one. Aster's taker rate sits around 0.009%, which is level with Entropy's effective rate rather than below it.
A zero-fee venue that does not list Anthropic is not an Anthropic venue. These platforms trade crypto perps and, in some cases, equity perps. If one of them lists an Anthropic contract, it will beat Entropy on cost. Check the venue's own market list before assuming it does, and treat any third-party page claiming otherwise with suspicion.
Aevo lists an ANTHROPIC-PERP market, but it is typed as a pre-IPO instrument rather than the pre-launch token category, and Aevo publishes no separate fee schedule for that category. Its general perpetual rate of 0.05% maker and 0.08% taker is the closest published figure, roughly 9 times Entropy's effective taker rate, though it may not apply exactly. Injective's Helix frontend announced an Anthropic pre-IPO perpetual at launch, but as of 2026-08-26 we could not find it among Injective's active derivative markets, and Helix Perp's on-chain fee revenue has collapsed to near zero over the last 30 days against $403,102 all-time. Confirm the market still exists before funding an account. Extended lists ANTHROP-USD at a flat 0% maker and 0.025% taker across both perps and spot, confirmed live as of 2026-08-26. Variational lists ANTHROPIC-PERP at 0% flat, an RFQ venue where the cost sits inside the quoted spread rather than a visible fee line, also confirmed live.
trade.xyz, the largest HIP-3 deployer by a wide margin, runs the deepest pre-IPO cohort on Hyperliquid, including xyz:SPCX for SpaceX and xyz:ZHIPU, but its market list did not include an Anthropic contract when we pulled it on 2026-08-26. Its fee schedule matches Entropy's, since HIP-3 rates are set by Hyperliquid rather than by the deployer. Head-to-head detail in Entropy vs trade.xyz.
Route 2: centralized exchange pre-IPO perps
Coinbase is the venue that matters here. It has listed pre-IPO perpetual futures covering Anthropic, OpenAI and SpaceX through its regulated derivatives business, in the United States, under CFTC oversight. That single fact kills the marketing claim, repeated across most of the guides ranking for this query, that a given DEX is the first or only liquid way to trade Anthropic. It is not.
OKX, Binance, Bybit, Bitget and Crypto.com have all listed stock or pre-IPO perpetual products. Coverage varies by entity, by product line and by your country of residence, and it changes without much notice.
Two things to check on any centralized venue before you compare fees:
Which entity are you trading with. Coinbase International, Coinbase Financial Markets and the retail Coinbase app are different regulated entities with different product sets. The same is true across every large exchange. A perp listed on the international entity may not be available to you.
What the all-in cost is. Centralized taker fees on derivatives typically land in the hundredths of a percent, roughly an order of magnitude above Entropy's Growth Mode rate but far below any private-market marketplace. Funding, spread and withdrawal costs usually matter more than the headline rate.
We are not going to publish a fee table for venues whose Anthropic listings we could not confirm on the day of writing. Check the exchange's own fee page and its own market list.
Route 3: TradFi private secondary marketplaces
This is where you buy exposure to actual shares, and it is also where the cost structure changes by two orders of magnitude.
Published take rates across this category cluster between roughly 2% and 5.75% per side, with accredited investor requirements and minimums in the $10,000 to $100,000 range. That is between roughly two hundred and six hundred times Entropy's 0.0090% taker rate, before you account for the weeks it takes to settle.
| Venue | What it is | Cost | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forge Global | Private-market marketplace, formerly listed as FRGE | Commission per side, in the low single-digit percent range | Acquired by Charles Schwab. Accreditation required |
| EquityZen | Fund-based access to private shares | Historically 5% per side, since reduced to about 2.5% | Acquired by Morgan Stanley. Five-figure minimums |
| Hiive | Direct buyer-to-seller marketplace | Commission charged on the sell side | Accreditation required |
| Linqto | Retail-facing private-share platform | Historically a markup embedded in the price | In Chapter 11. Plan confirmed 2026-02-06. Check the docket before treating it as a live venue |
Verify each of these against the venue's own published fee schedule before you transact. Terms in this category change with ownership, and two of the four listed above changed hands recently.
Two caveats you should not skip.
Whether any of these currently lists Anthropic specifically is inventory-dependent and changes weekly. Private secondary inventory comes from individual shareholders who want to sell. A company that appears on a marketplace one month may have nothing on offer the next. "Forge Global Anthropic" and "EquityZen Anthropic" are among the highest-volume queries in this niche and the honest answer to both is: check the venue, because we cannot state today's inventory.
Anthropic itself has publicly warned about this channel. In May 2026 the company published a support article stating that transfers of its stock through special purpose vehicles are "void under our transfer restrictions", and that third parties selling exposure through "direct sales, forward contracts, tokenized securities, or other mechanisms" are "likely either engaged in fraud or offering an investment that may have no value." Read it on Anthropic's own support site. CoinDesk covered the market reaction at the time.
We do not tell you what that statement means for any specific product. It is a company describing its own transfer restrictions, and how it interacts with any given venue's structure is a legal question for a qualified professional.
Entropy is not the cheapest venue, and here is where it does win
A comparison page whose referral partner wins on every axis is worthless, so here are both sides.
Where Entropy loses. Any venue running zero maker and zero taker fees beats 0.0030% / 0.0090% on cost. Aster's taker rate is level with it. HIP-3 fee rates are set by Hyperliquid and inherited by every deployer, so Entropy has no structural fee advantage over trade.xyz, Paragon or Kinetiq either. Growth Mode is a lever any deployer can pull and any deployer can un-pull. Entropy is also seven days old, publishes no audit or bug bounty, ships no two-factor authentication, and its io:ANTH open interest cap was two-thirds consumed on the day we checked. The audit point comes with a caveat: Entropy deploys no contracts of its own, so its protocol risk is inherited from Hyperliquid rather than written by Entropy.
Where Entropy wins, and it is not close. Against the private secondary marketplaces. Those venues charge roughly 2% to 5.75% per side, require accredited investor status, set minimums between about $10,000 and $100,000, and can take weeks to close a transaction that you then cannot exit. io:ANTH charges thousandths of a percent, has no minimum beyond the market's order size floor, asks for no accreditation, and closes in one click.
The catch is the thing you give up. A secondary marketplace transaction, whatever its cost, is aimed at an interest in real shares. io:ANTH conveys nothing. Entropy's own legal page says its contracts are "not equity, securities entitlements, ownership interests, IPO allocations, tokenized shares" and that holders get "no voting rights, dividend rights, information rights, registration rights, allocation rights, delivery rights".
So the comparison that matters is between two different instruments, rather than between two fee rates.
Access and eligibility
Entropy takes USDC collateral bridged from Arbitrum One and requires no identity verification. It does run an IP-based geographic check and a wallet screening step. Its terms of service name the United States, Canada, Panama and the United Kingdom as Restricted Jurisdictions, and from a US IP the endpoint entropy.io/api/geo/status returns {"restricted":true,"country":"US","mode":"trading","reason":"country"}. Browsing works, trading does not. Section 2.3 of the terms prohibits VPN, proxy and Tor circumvention. We describe what the terms say and what the endpoint returns and leave it there. Full detail on restricted countries.
Coinbase's regulated pre-IPO perps run the opposite way: identity verification, eligibility screening, and availability in some of the jurisdictions Entropy excludes. If you are in the US, that difference is the whole decision.
The private marketplaces sit further along the same axis again, with accreditation checks, subscription documents and a settlement process measured in weeks.
Picking a route
You want leveraged directional exposure and you are outside the restricted list. io:ANTH is the cheapest confirmed on-chain option today, with the caveats above. Read pre-IPO perps explained first, because the mark price is derived from Entropy's own order book and auto-deleveraging cannot be opted out of. Then follow how to trade on Entropy.
You are in the US, Canada or the UK. The on-chain route is closed to you by the venue's own terms. A regulated derivatives venue is the route that exists.
You want an interest in real shares and you qualify. The private marketplaces are the only route that aims at that, at commissions two to three orders of magnitude above a perp, with Anthropic's own published warning about SPV transfers to read first.
You are here because a guide told you to farm a Ventuals airdrop. There is no Ventuals token. There never was.

Claim Your 25% RebateEntropy's referral rebate applies against Entropy's share of the HIP-3 fee, not against your total fee, so the entry tier's headline 25% works out to roughly 12.5% of what you actually pay. It covers Entropy's own two markets, io:ANTH and io:SNDK, and not the 317 markets other deployers list on the same frontend. Rebates are claimed manually through a status ladder that includes a Held state Entropy controls off-chain. Frequently Asked Questions
Buying the stock itself means buying from an existing shareholder through a private secondary marketplace, which in the United States generally requires accredited investor status and five or six figure minimums. Anthropic also published a support article in May 2026 stating that transfers of its stock through special purpose vehicles are void under its transfer restrictions. The perpetual futures route is a different thing entirely. It gives you price exposure to an implied valuation with no shares, no cap table entry and no claim on the company. Read Anthropic's own statement and speak to a qualified professional before acting on either route.
No. Entropy's io:ANTH runs at roughly 0.0030% maker and 0.0090% taker while Growth Mode is enabled, which is cheap in absolute terms, but several general perpetual DEXs advertise zero maker and zero taker fees for standard accounts and would be cheaper if they listed the market. Entropy's cost advantage is clearest against traditional pre-IPO secondary marketplaces, whose published take rates are measured in whole percentage points per side rather than thousandths of a percent.
Coinbase has offered pre-IPO perpetual futures including Anthropic, OpenAI and SpaceX contracts through its regulated derivatives venue. That directly contradicts any guide claiming a given DEX is the only liquid way to trade Anthropic. Availability, product names and eligibility differ by country and by account type, so check Coinbase's own product pages for current listings rather than relying on a third-party article.
No. Ventuals wound down and all fifteen of its markets show isDelisted true on-chain, with the last non-zero fee day on 2026-06-18. The vntl ANTHROPIC market settled at 1619.3 and vntl SPACEX at 2109.5. Several guides that still rank for Anthropic pre-IPO queries recommend these markets, and they cannot be traded. No Ventuals token was ever issued, so any farming guide pointing at a Ventuals airdrop is describing something that does not exist.
A secondary marketplace transaction transfers an interest in actual shares or in a fund holding them, subject to company transfer restrictions, right of first refusal and lockups, and it usually cannot be exited quickly. A pre-IPO perpetual is a cash-settled contract that conveys no shares and no rights. Entropy's own legal page states its contracts are not equity, securities entitlements, ownership interests, IPO allocations or tokenized shares. The perp can be closed in seconds, and it can also be auto-deleveraged or halted by the venue operator.
